Opinion: Generation 'C'

The “Gun Control Lobby” is no different than the “Climate Control Lobby” which is no different than the ‘Weight Control Lobby” etc. etc. etc. The Gun Control Lobby wants the average law abiding citizen disarmed. They have no interest in the criminals gun problem, it is much easier to control the average family who is not breaking into homes in the middle of the night, dragging family members through windows. Living in Miami during the 80’s riots and in the 90’s during hurricane Andrew were eye opening experiences.

During the riots there was no time to prepare for how quickly things got out of control. As I drove towards work I noticed these huge fires near my job. I always carried a gun in my trunk because Miami at the time was a very dangerous place. Castro had just unleashed his Islands psychotic murderers on to the Miami streets (Mariel) and they had no problem finding guns.

My job at the time was near the border of Liberty City were the riots and burning were taking place. When I got to work everyone was in a panic because word was the rioters were beginning to seep out of Liberty City. I had some friends who lived close by and called them, they said the homeowners had banded together with their own weapons to stop any rioters from entering their blocks. Many gunfights ensued and many showed they were armed. The National Guard had not yet deployed. If the Gun Lobby had it’s way the surrounding families would have for sure been victims.

After Andrew it looked like a nuclear bomb had dropped but there weren’t people screaming and panicking in the streets, everyone was helping each other and FEMA was not even an option. You didn’ have people screaming in front of the camera about how the President hates the victims. We did not turn that disaster into a political message. The thugs knew the homeowners were armed and they did not even think of roaming the streets. The Gun Lobby’s goal is to disarm Americans and make us helpless like the people in New Orleans. Remember that paradise the Democrats run.

The overreach of the “Control Lobby” has just started. The Global Warming alarmists are busy planning the way you will live your life. They will pass laws that would criminalize actions that many people now take for granted. The loudest voices for you to modify and downgrade your quality of life themselves have a carbon footprint that would make Al Gore’s (which is about the size of a small town) look like a babies footprint. In the meantime Al Gore has made over 100 million dollars scaring school children and preaching some cult religion of impending doom. It makes me wonder what these people will do when it starts getting colder.

The CL is intent on sticking their busybody noses in all your business. They will think of taxes you would never even notice until it’s too late. Confiscating as much of the money you work for until you are barley surviving. All to save the Planet. What do you call a generation that claims it is they who will save the Planet the Planet the generation before them had already saved. Generation C….mpress
