Opinion:The Revolution the Press Ignores
The Liberal Print Media establishment must be in a panic. An enormous advantage that the Left has had over the access and distribution of information for over 60 years is crumbling. Liberal papers and magazines are drowning in the Internet Ocean. A Revolution the MSM seems to not notice much. Yes the Liberal Print Media of which 85% are registered Democrats. Makes one wonder when Congress is going to step in and offer to subsidies the Print Media “for the good of the people.”
Just today in Palm Beach (where Americas worst voters reside) The Palm Beach Post (one of the most P.C. papers in the country) sent a memo to their employees: Our plan is to reduce our workforce of 1,350 by more than 300 full-time equivalent positions across The Palm Beach Post, Florida Pennysaver, and La Palma. Read memo
This comes at the heels of last weeks Miami Herald announcement that they were laying off 250 workers. Newsweek has been an arm of the DNC for years and their stock and numbers are crashing. The same people who for years demonized Big Corporations daily for making obscene profits, are now scrambling to acquire some obscene profits to save their asses. The left likes to romanticize about revolution with the Che posters the nostalgic look back at the way Castro and his men just kicked out those nasty Capitalists and made Cuba and the Cuban people some of the last to still suffer the failed system so many Liberals are sure would work with a little tweaking and help from the US.
That nasty embargo made it impossible for Fidel and his admirers in the press to point to Cuba and say “you see, Marxism can work.” Well this Revolution has a different face on it and it’s not Che….mpress
