Newly elected MP, Ted Opitz hugs filmmaker and Human Rights Activist Roger Nair, Roger Nair endorsed the Lt. Col. along with Minister Jason Kenney earlier on the Campaign.
When  Ted Opitz, a decorated Lt. Col. of the Canadian forces  was nominated into this " Liberal Stronghold" days before the elections were called; he was considered to be an underdog.But the following results from election Canada tell an amazing story and a race!!!
    
Ted Opitz (Conservative) 21661 beat Liberal incumbent Borys Wrzesnewskyj 21635
    
The pictures tell that  this Candidate not only was endorsed by people like Rob Ford,Doug Ford, Jason Kenney,  Roger Nair, Jim Flaherty and none other that Stephen Harper himself, he had a hell of a team, a team that waited to crack open the champaign until the final results came in at about 2 AM.
    
Ted Opitz beat Liberal incumbent Borys Wrzesnewskyj in Etobicoke Centre.
    
Borys had won this riding by more than 6000 votes in the last election. 
    
 Mr. Harper may look at this army officer for a Cabinet post, given his experiance in the army and as a Senior Advisor of Minister of Immigration , Multiculturalism and Citizenship, Jason Kenney.
