NP Rank:
O'Reilly and Barney Frank Agree about ACORN
They spoke to each other with civility and Barney Frank said he had been misquoted about ACORN. He missed the vote on ACORN, but he said he would have voted to strip it of federal funds.
When some things are done, they are done.
What we some would say that we saw here was the limit of support by elected officials: when the support they receive will cost them their jobs, then it is not support, but its opposite.
I once said here at NowPublic that the world was run by people who knew how to get the jobs, not by people who knew how to do their jobs. Well, in this case, it would be harder to find an example of someone who knew how to get a job than a politician.
In any case, I welcome the sanity from Mr. Franks.

Well, this is a shocker! Halelujah for hints of light anywhere in a politician.
