US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has mouthed what the whole world suspected for close to a decade: “Some Pakistani officials are more informed about al-Qaeda and Taliban than they let on,”  she disclosed at an interview with the CBS.

After 9/11, when George Bush Jr. turned the heat on Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf to help apprehend Osama Bin Laden, Musharraf asked for three days to do that.  After three days, Musharraf threw up his hands and expressed his helplessness.

If Musharraf’s activities for those three days are investigated by the United States, it may throw up some interesting facts!  Bush Jr. took Musharraf’s word for it when Musharraf got back to him saying that he could not do anything to help apprehend Osama.  I am surprised that George Bush did not try to find out as to what Musharraf was up to during those three days.
