At least one powerful explosion hit Oslo, Norway on July 22, 2011.
The Oslo explosion hit near the government headquarters in the Norwegian capital. The blast appears to have damaged the Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and a number of other official buildings.
The headquarters of a Norwegian newspaper also appear to have been damaged.
Some reports indicate that the attacks in Oslo consisted of two explosions.
Photos and video from Oslo show streets littered with broken glass and debris. Police have cut off roads entering into the city center.
Who Is Responsible for the Oslo Explosion?
No person or group has yet taken responsibility for the attack in Oslo.
Early reports indicate that at at least seven people have been killed and at least eight injured in the attack.
