Out hiking in Iraq and got lost in Iran

This is an old saga now. Three idiots from the USA decide to go exploring in Iraq. Craziness #1, don’t you know a war is going on? They slip off the trail at the border and end up in Iran where they are apprehended by a very significant USA and free world enemy, Craziness #2.

Then again, Iran believes these crazies are actually CIA spies, looking for hidden nuclear weapons development sites. Crazy? Who’s crazy?

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran announced Thursday that Sarah Shourd, one of the three Americans jailed for more than a year, will be released Saturday to mark the end of Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Spokesman for the Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations tells Fox News that the American hiker will be released "very soon."

The imprisonment of the Americans has deepened tensions between the U.S. and Iran, a relationship already strained over Washington's suspicions that Tehran is trying to manufacture nuclear weapons -- something Iran denies.”
