Over 65 years later, two men are on trial for their involvement in the mass devastation that occurred during the years of the Holocaust. 

"... As the trial of John Demjanjuk, a retired autoworker accused of helping to kill Jews during the Holocaust, began Monday in Germany, the case of another American accused of Nazi war crimes grinds on in Massachusetts... The United States government has accused Vladas Zajanckauskas, a 93-year-old Lithuanian-American, of taking part in the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in 1943, which left more than 10,000 Jews dead. Mr. Zajanckauskas, who worked for 35 years in a Worcester plastics factory, insists he never went to Warsaw..."

For the many families affected by the horrible part of history, hopefully these trials will not dig up old memories but provide some form of closure for the past.  For the world of today, hopefully these trials will twang a heart string of the war criminals of the 21st century and show them that justice does exist, that one day you will be held accountable for wrong actions.
