Dubai is a great place, very friendly people. At any time i have been there over the past few years, i have never felt in danger. Everyone is relaxed and noone bothers you. You just have to accept and abide by their religion and beleifs.
Anyone going to Dubai or the UAE, should read up on what you can and cannot do in the country, just to keep yourself right and out of trouble.
