Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao turned in a sensational performance when he defeated Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico in lopsided fashion. Proving critics wrong once again, Pacquiao appeared to be the bigger man, stalking Cotto for most of the fight after the Puerto Rican wanted nothing to do with the Filipino after being knocked down twice early.

Manny Pacquiao sent Miguel Cotto down on the canvass on spaghetti legs with a strong left that sparked the beginning of the end. Since then, Cotto did not dare engage with the Filipino anymore and instead decided to play keep-away for the rest of the fight.

Pacquiao now holds the record for most titles in different weight divisions, eclipsing the mark once set by "The Golden Boy" Oscar Dela Hoya.
