Police force was deployed to disburse protesters from the Government House which is occupied by PAD supporters. PAD is demanding resignation of Prime minister and its cabinet accusing him of being the marionette of the ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra who is accused of corruption and is currently in self-imposed exile in UK.
Thai prime minister Samak Sundaravej has declared state of emergency, however there is no indication that the army would use force against thousands of protesters who are adamant to continue protests.
