Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that Pakistan was ready to send a high level delegation to India to normalize the situation. While talking to the media persons at the local airport soon after his arrival, PM said that Pakistan has begun investigations after taking some leaders and members of banned outfits in custody adding that it was a good gesture Pakistan has shown to the whole world including the neighbouring country. Law will take its own course in the light of investigations, he added.
Gilani said that as far as the Indian intelligence is concerned, whatever information or list they send, we would investigate it.
To a question, Gilani said that chances of improvement in situation are always maximum when a political and democratic government is at the helm of affairs.
When asked about arrest of Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and Zarrar Shah, the PM said he would not comment on the matter till the completion of investigations process, however, confirmed that they have been arrested.
