Pakistan: 10 Killed In Tribal Areas Fighting

More than 10 people were killed and several others were injured in clashes among terrorist groups in several parts of tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. On the other hand terrorists have planned public executions in Mohmand Agency and Orakzai Agency, tribal areas. Tribal elders have called for formation of jirga to stop public execution.

According reports from Waziristan tribal region, six persons were killed and seven others injured in a clash between two tribes over land dispute in Spainwam area of South Waziristan.

Reports said that clashes erupted once again between the Hasankhel and Mandikhel tribes over the ownership of a mountain. Both tribes are using heavy weapons against each other. The Assistant Political Agent Asmatullah said that a tribal jirga had been convened and had started talks for a ceasefire

Meanwhile, according to another report, four people have been killed in an exchange of fire between two armed groups in Tehra Valley in Khyber Agency, anothern tribal agency.

Four persons killed during trade of fire have been identified as Gulab Khan, Gul Zaman, Imran and Nisar. Political administration started investigations of the incident.
