 Pakistan Bomb in blast 10 people were killed  Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, Nov. 02 : A bomb blast killed several people in of Rawalpindi on Monday, official and doctors said.Sources said that upto 10 people were killed in blast outside Shalimar Hotel in cantonment area. The bomb detonated at 10:40 a.m., witnesses said. Several shopping centers, hotels and banks are located in the area, witnesses said.Several people were busy in morning shopping and a large number of people were present in a nearby bank to draw salaries when the blast occurred.The blast also injured over 10 people who were taken to the nearby hospitals, doctors said.

Troops from the nearby army's General Headquarters and police cordoned off the main road and also barred TV cameramen and journalists to the blast site.
Several buildings and vehicles were destroyed in the blast.
