Declaration of tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border as the most dangerous zone by US President George W. Bush has been received with great fear and terror in the areas. Several newspapers of Pakistan published the news as banner headline.

Some of the tribesmen think that President Bush is right in his claim as some dreaded terrorists have been shifted to tribal areas after the fall of Taliban government in Afghanistan. According to them, these dreaded terrorists have still been hiding in tribal areas making plans for carrying out terrorist attacks.

The topic of discussion in Bajaur Agency, tribal areas remains what methods the US would adopt to deal the matter. Some of tribal elders suggest the US should accept the rule of law in this case. According to them, tribal areas are being governed through Frontier Crime Regulation. By accepting that law by the US can resolve the problem. The law suggest that tribal elders or maliks should be taken into confidence before initiation of any activities.

The declaration of tribal areas as danger zone has endangered the lives of millions of people, who have committed no crime. At least a way should be adopted to avoid civilian casualties particularly of women and children. Tribal elders suggest a joint search operation should be conducted.
The End

Hi, you have a typed-in copy of a web page reference. What it has to say is important and should be part of the context. Here's just one statement: "In an interview with ABC News, Mr Bush described the tribal region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border as one of the most dangerous areas in the world today where “Al Qaeda had established safe havens and was plotting attacks against the United States”.

If you could highlight that and then add the  context you've provided here, it would help everyone. Thanks.

good stuff:

voiceforpeace, I like this story. It's good stuff. I would be interested in your personal views on Bush and his war on terror. I'm not a fan of Bush, and I really think he has many other interests besides combatting terror. His popularity here in the US has went way down, the more this war goes on.  I think that the US troops definately need to make sure there are no civilian casualties, since I have always been in love with the Pakistani people ever since I was 4 years old. My dream was always to either live there, or to visit. Now, it's not safe for my family. My boys have had an interest in Indian and Pakistani culture ever since I first dated an Indian man, then married my hubby.  My boys and I were raised Christian, but never really fit in with the Christian way of life. We have all been learing about Islam, and now are following that way of life, since my hubby and his family are Muslim.  My best friend since high school thinks my hubby is great, since I had tended to date men that would abuse me in one way or antoher. He is the first one that I am with that she actually considers a real man, since he has always taken care of my boys and I from the beginning, when we just met.  I remember all the prejudice here after 9/11, and I was dating the Indian man at the time. He couldn't find a job here in what he went to college for, and so he ended up having to move out of the US as a result. He only had a student visa, and since he could not find a job  here, he had to leave.  So many jobs he applied for, gave him really no good reason why they would not hire him, we all think they were just being prejudical in their actions. He was really qualified in his field, and all the other Indians that I was friends with because of him, had the same problem with finding a job here, and also ended up having to leave the US.  Even now, where we live, since it is a small city, mostly made up of caucasians, people tend to give us funny looks when we are out together, and when my boys call him dad. My 13 year old loves to wear his dad's t-shirt from his cricket team, that says 'Proud to be Pakistani; on the back in really big letters. It is his favorite shirt, and my 11 year old can't wait until it fits him. They always love the gifts their dad brings back for them from Pakistan, when he comes back home from there. He gets me gifts from there as well, and they are my favorite things that I have. I have always been interested in this area of the world, ever since I can remember, and have taught my boys as much as I knew about these areas from the time they could talk. I have been on the dawn news site, since when my husband was stick in Rawalpindi when Bhutto was assasinated. I was looking for Pakistani sites, that told the real truth of what was happening there. I have made many friends from Pakistan, and they would always keep my spirits up that my hubby would come home safe. They all are truly wonderful people, and I really hate it when innocent people get hurt or killed by the troops there.  I worry about my sister-in-law and family's safety, since they live in Pakistan full-time. My other two sisters-in-law have lived here in the US for years already, and my hubby moved here around 2000. I also visit the blog by the United Students Federation Pakistan ocassionally. That is where I met some really kind people who were nice to me from the beginning. They are the ones who kept my sanity while my hubby was in Rawalpindi, since he was not able to call home that much then. I really appreciate their helping me.
