At least Ten people have been killed by a blast in the the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, police say.
The blast happened in a heavily populated area in the city centre near a market and a number of Shia mosques, local media said.
Police were reported to be at the scene. All hospitals have been put on emergency standby.
Earlier on Friday, six people died in what was believed to be a sectarian attack in the Orakzai tribal region.
The north-west of Pakistan has been hit by a wave of recent violence, much of it linked to army operations against al-Qaeda and Taleban fighters and tribesmen who support their cause.
