Pakistan offers India joint probe into Mumbai terror attack

As the Indian government handed over a list of 20 suspects to Pakistan, Islamabad on Tuesday offered New Delhi a joint investigation to probe into the Mumbai attack.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said Pakistan has offered a joint investigation team to help India probe the Mumbai attacks.Foreign Minister Qureshi said the entire world is engulfed by the menace of terrorism, adding that Pakistan and India are also its victims.
He said Pakistan has offered a joint investigation team to India.
Qureshi said terrorism is the biggest challenge faced by both Pakistan and India. “It’s a common enemy. We need to devise a joint strategy to deal with the situation,” he added.
He said, “We want better relations with Pakistan and it is in the larger interest of two countries to continue the composite dialogue process.”
Foreign Minister said, “We have invited country’s political leaders for devising a national policy on the prevailing situation.”
In a message to the nation, the foreign minister said Pakistan army is fully capable to defend the country’s borders.
Earlier, he held a meeting with 36 foreign diplomats and gave them a detailed briefing on the current situation in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.
Earlier, media reports said that India has handed over a list of 20 wanted persons to Pakistan.
India has handed over Pakistan a list of 20 wanted persons, said the Indian media quoting Foreign Minister, Pranab Mukherjee.Indian media report said that the list was handed over to the Pakistan High Commission last night.
Masood Azhar of Jaishe-e-Muhammad and Dawood Ibrahim topped the list of the wanted persons reportedly given to Pakistan High Commission in India last night, media report said.

But it seems the Indian officials are not interest in a fair and realistic probe but just to subdue Pakistan by hook and crook. This shows that the Mumbai attack has been staged by the US and Indian intelligence to make Pakistan bow to India like it did in case of the US in the wake of the 9/11. However, it is not possible for the government because Pakistani people are already averse to the cooperation with the US, hence they would not allow the rulers to turn the country into an Indian colony.
