Pakistan suicide attack leaves four security officials dead

As the Pakistan police and security forces were engaged in an operation to clear a police training school in Lahore of terrorists, who killed at least 26 people and injured scores others, a suicide bomber attacked a convoy of security forces in Bannu Frontier Region, a semi-tribal area in the troubled North West Frontier Province (NWFP), leaving four security officials dead and seven others injured.

BANNU: Four security officials have been killed and seven injured in a suicide attack on security forces convoy in FR Bannu.



According to political administration of FR Bannu, suicide attack is carried out at Bannu-Miranshah Road near Mir Zail checkpost in Bakakhel area. Four security personnel have been killed and seven others injured in the attack.



The injured have been shifted to district headquarter hospital Bannu. Security forces have cordoned off the area and sealed Bannu-Miranshah Road.
