Despire Musharraf's reassurances that these missiles will not fall into the wrong hands, Pakistan's recent tests could very well provoke the US into sending troops to the country in order to "secure the Pakistani nuclear arsenal".
The Pakistani military says it has successfully test-fired a short-range ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear device.

They say the missile has a range of 290kms (180 miles). It was launched from a secret location at the end of a training session.

The firing of the Ghaznavi missile was the third such test in as many weeks.
President Pervez Musharraf has dismissed fears that his country's nuclear weapons could be acquired by Islamist militants.
