Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2nd Test Day 2 Video Highlights 2013
Video Highlights of Pakistan vs Zimbabwe 2nd Test Day 2 - 11 September 2013. An important knock from Younis Khan (52 not out), ably supported by skipper Misbah-ul-Haq (27 not out) helped Pakistan end the day at 163 for three, still 131 runs behind Zimbabwe’s first innings total at the end of second day’s play at the Harare Sports Club.
Younis, who got to his half-century with a boundary, also achieved a personal milestone of 7,000 Test runs with that effort.
Khurram Manzoor, who was unbeaten on 51 at the end of the second session, failed to add any further to his total as a misunderstanding between him and Younis led to his run out in the second over of the final session.
At this stage, Pakistan were on 96 for three, giving Zimbabwe hopes of ending the day on a bright note. However, Younis and Misbah-ul-Haq came together to quash any such ideas of the home side as they added an unbeaten partnership of 67 for the fourth wicket. The duo came together during a tricky passage of play and ensured Pakistan finished without losing any further wickets.
Zimbabwe 294 (Hamilton Masakadza 75, Brendon Taylor 51; Junaid Khan 4 for 67) lead Pakistan 163 for 3 (Khurrum Manzoor 51, Younis Khan 52*) by 131 runs.
