The massive suicide bombing of an upscale hotel in Islamabad last week that killed 60 and injured over 270 has started to take its toll on Pakistan’s aviation and tourism industries and experts fear the deteriorating law and order can scare off foreign carriers and travelers.
The first signs of repercussions came early this week when British Airways announced it was suspending flights to Islamabad in the wake of the Saturday bombing that gutted the bustling and popular five-star Marriott hotel.
