Weeks ago demonstrations and individuals began to demonstrate and speak out against the Taliban. But we in the West did not see this. Here are some videos direct from Pakistan.

People of Pakistan are on the streets protesting against the violence and brutalities of Taliban. Nearly 5 lakh citizens from SWAT are displaced and several killed due to fighting between pakistani military and the talibans. The latest news is that atleat 20000 people are held hostage by the taliban militants in the swat valley. The people of Pakistan are now questioning the govt's decision to give up half of Pakistan to the talibans.
Here is a woman from the SWAT protests Pakistan taliban truce says taliban's version of sharia does not follow true Islam, from last February.
Woman describes how Taliban is destroying SWAT and how the Pakistan Taliban peace deal will leave Pakistan in Pieces. She says that this is just the beginning and this will spill over to all over Pakistan. One of her family members has already been beheaded and hence she fled the SWAT region

NO one in life respects and enjoys violence. this is a peace loving nation that has been bombarded into the caves. all children are beautiful. we do not accept the violence and the shameful and innocent deaths. love for all. but i must thank you for sharing this input to the world. I see a few admirers of Pakistan. the world has seen enough of the worst aspects of this nation.
