Pakistan's Interior Minister on Thursday said that homegrown networks are involved in terrorism acts on the Indian soil and it had been proved that Indian nationals were involved in Mumbai attacks.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that anti state elements who had been attempting to destabilize Pakistan and turn it into a failed state have been frustrated.
Talking to media after appearing before Lahore High Court, Malik said if Pakistan and Afghanistan are destabilized then establishing regional peace will continue to remain only a dream.
About Swat, the Interior Minister said Swat operation has been completed and normalcy restored in the area, however, sporadic incidents (terror activities) may continue for a while.
Malik said talks are being held with India to restore peaceful ties, adding, the international community also has its role in the process.
Interior Minister said time has proved that Indian nationals were involved in Mumbai attacks. “Three Indian terror networks have been identified that were involved in Mumbai attacks besides carrying out terror attacks at Indian parliament and Samjhota Express,” he added.
