Interesting blog from private citizens in Pakistan who have joined in a effort to provide relief to the displaced citizens from the SWAT valley.
Our Swat Relief drive on Day 3 [Saturday] was hectic to say the least. We [Hasnain, Youshey, me & Faris] left Peshawar around 9am without breakfast, our aim was to start bright and early to first head to Bagheecha Deri where around 150 bags had been delivered a night before stored safely in Inam’s house.

Local people banding together to help. Raising money, bargaining for bettter deals on relief supplies, including pans, dishes, etc. doing their best to make sure women and children get some.
Things like that happened after Hurricane Katrina. Florida people got there before Salvation Army (1st relief efforts), Red Cross or even FEMA, with water and ice, first aid.
