Palin-Biden Debate: The Transcript

Gwen Ifill of "The NewsHour" and "Washington Week" on PBS served as moderator for the 2008 Vice Presidential Debate held at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri last night between the Republican vice presidential nominee, Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska, and the Democratic vice presidential nominee, Senator Joe Biden of Delaware.
The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsored the event. The Commission will sponsor two more events -- Next Tuesday, October 7th, with Tom Brokaw at Belmont University in Nashville, and on October 15th at Hofstra University in New York, with Bob Schieffer.

Paschen, thank you for reading, commenting, and the Flag, and you are very welcome. I'm sorry you missed the Debate. I hope you can schedule some time, at some point, to view some video coverage. I wanted to post the Transcript because I think it is important that it (as well as the previous and upcoming debate transcripts that can be viewed at the Commission on Presidential Debates) be reviewed (often) before our voters go to the polls. I don't think the issue here should be expertise in any given area at this time really (life is about learning), rather the ideologies the respective candidates bring with them. I firmly believe that, first and foremost, and among other things, we no longer need "leaders" in the White House who are "war mongers" or who refuse to "simply" sit down with world leaders, irrespective of positions. Thanks again.
