Palin didn't violate ethics law, 2nd probe finds
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) -- Alaska's Personnel Board concluded Monday that Gov. Sarah Palin did not violate ethics law by trying to get her ex-brother-in-law fired from the state police, contradicting an earlier investigation's findings.

"There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with these matters," Timothy Petumenos, the Anchorage lawyer hired to conduct the investigation, wrote in his final report.
The announcement comes a day before Palin and Republican presidential nominee John McCain face voters in Tuesday's presidential election.Allegations that Palin fired Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan in July because he refused to fire her sister's ex-husband, Mike Wooten, have dogged her since before she became the GOP's vice presidential nominee in August.
How ironic that a day before the election the Personnel Board comes to this conclusion, its also ironic that this is the very investigation that Palin asked to be held. I am sure if we dig deep we will find a connection but its not important and its definitely not in time to make any changes for election day.
America needs real solutions to the very real problems that we are facing. I applaud Mccains service and his many years of dedicated service. I however would like to ask Mccain about his dedicated service since he runs on the platform of experience and being tested. What happen over the many years he has had in government that only now does he attempt to make these changes that we need. Why has he not been a Maverick before the election fighting on behalf of citizens. Its kind of like me being a mechanic and telling you about how to fix your car even though my car is in the driveway broken down.
Tomorrow will tell each candidate what America thinks and I hope Obama wins, but regardless of who wins they just need to know we have been fooled many times and the next 4 years there must be accountability and transparency. We must know what our elected officials are doing. Its important for us to keep on top of whoever wins tomorrow.
I don't think this second investigation with Palin is legit but oh well its politics. Real issues deserve real answers, the time is now and America demands change.

integrityforamerica, I like this story. It's good stuff. Too funny that none of the socialist commies who are the majority of people in here will touch this with a ten foot pole.
