Former GOP Vice Presidential candidate, and current Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, will visit Augusta Monday, December 1st to campaign for U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss. Governor Palin will cover several Georgia cities Monday, but Augusta is her first stop, at 8:30 a.m.

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The event is free for the general public, but in order to attend, you must RSVP at www.procatalog.com/saxby or by visiting the ‘Action Center’ at www.saxby.org.

SAXBY CONFIRMS SARAH PALIN TO CAMPAIGN WITH HIM IN GEORGIA

ATLANTA—U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) today confirmed that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will campaign in Georgia with him on Monday, December 1st.

“I was thrilled when I got the call that Governor Palin would be able to make the trip to Georgia to campaign with me the day before the runoff election,” Saxby said.  “Julianne and I are honored that she would take the time to travel to Georgia to tell everyone how important this election is and I know that she will receive an enthusiastic welcome everywhere we go.”

Governor Palin will join Saxby for four public rallies across the state on Monday, December 1st: 8:30 am in Augusta; 11:00 am in Savannah; 1:30 pm in Perry; and 4:00 pm in north metro Atlanta.  More specific details on exact locations and how to obtain tickets will be available later this week.

Saxby is seeking re-election for his second term in the United States Senate.  His re-election has been endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 180 Georgia County Commissioners, 190 city officials, 239 law enforcement officers, over 100 Georgia Democrats including Zell Miller, 102 State Representatives, 32 State Senators, Georgia Veterans including Vets for Freedom PAC and Veterans of Foreign Wars PAC, the Republican Liberty Caucus, National Federation of Independent Business, National Rifle Association PVF, National Right to Life PAC, the National Community Pharmacists Association, the Marietta Daily Journal, the Savannah Morning News, the Albany Herald, the Waycross Journal Herald, the Athens Banner Herald, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer,  the Brunswick News, the Augusta Chronicle, the Chattanooga Times Free Press, the Valdosta Times and the Macon Telegraph.  He is the Ranking Republican Member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry and a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Senate Rules Committee.  Senator Chambliss previously represented Georgia’s 8th congressional district for four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives where he served as the Chairman of the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Terrorism and Homeland Security.

 she is an awesome politician and a great conservative leader, I am obviously not alone holding this opinion, look at what happened to McCain's (- the compromising wet-noodle.) poll results and popularity once he chose this wonderful patriot. Go Sarah -you rock!!
