PALIN-PALOOZA! Veep Vamp Does the Nasty - GET POLITICAL w/ VIC LIVINGSTON

Hold the call to Tina Fey! Quick... get me Ana Gasteyer! You know, the one on Saturday Night Live who played Bobbi Mohan-Culp, the junior high school singing teacher to Will Ferrell's organ-playing Marty Culp... She is Sarah Palin!

Great gams and bone structure, but the most annoying voice this side of Minnie Mouse...  and NAAAASTY?... now we all know where they came up with the name "Sarah Barracuda." She's the Shrill Siren of Snide, a distaff dirty fighter.

And, as we predicted, she delivers her blows below the belt... ouch! A pit bull in lipstick indeed, this Alaskan hockey mom.  Joe Biden, cross your legs!  Community organizers, beware: the veep vamp thinks fighting for the people carries no responsibilities.

This wasn't a political convention speech... it was a bizarro Sally Fields movie, a rifle-totin' right-wing Norma Rae.

In some ways, it was more cartoon than sitcom. Sarah Palin's just too easy to parody. And that's where the Dems can find an opening. Because she was so smilingly sarcastic, downright mean in an almost sadistic way, Obama and Biden need not hold back.

It would be a serious mistake to pull punches because Palin is a woman. This is a woman with low-hanging Alaskan stones. Go easy on her and you lose going in. Don't be fooled by the immaculate grooming and the tailored suits: This is a formidable knife fighter -- like the lady said, a pitbull with lipstick.

On a more serious note: This "Palin-palooza" demonstrates how far this nation has descended into the politique noir of personality. On that point, Palin is cut from the same iconoclastic cloth as Obama, kindred mirror opposites in the practice of cult politics.

Experience is now optional in presidential politics. Many believe that the occupant of the White House is just the front-person for the power elite that really runs this country; these media-fed politics of egotism make it easier for those elites to tighten their grasp on political power at the expense of individual liberty.

More on this tommorrow... I feel like I've just seen a chick horror flick triple feature: Norma Rae, Miss Congeniality and Working Girl as if directed by Leni Riefenstahl. Keep saying to yourself, "Maybe it's just a movie; maybe it's just a movie..."

Go ahead, Thought Police, say it: "Another frickin' lefty blogger."  It's not true; but whatever floats your U-boat...
