My title pretty much says it all! Pam, ardent supporter of the Homeless, Environmentalist, Veganist, Singist, Dancist, PETA, Activist, pretty much if there is a cause, Pam is ready and willing tol be the Cause Du Jour spokeswoman. Now Pam is a Developer to the Stars!!
Pam breezed into small town Ladysmith to the cheers of onlookers, onlookers most likely blinded by her "Racktackular Assets", and most likely will vote in favour enmasse in Pam's quest to build 83 Waterfront Condos in Ladysmith, BC. Perhaps the voting townspeople are hoping she will be a prime tourist draw with her Celeb friends lying on the beach ala Baywatch?
Of course these Condo's will not be rentals to the poor, but sold to wealthy elite, not to mention environmental effects to the shoreline in which they will be located, along with the additional sewage etc. But Hey, we got to see Pam, so damn the environment and the duckies and fishies.
Local "Big Hair" Realtors in their Typical "Garish Fashions" will be seen around town in absolute fits of "Orgasmic Convulsions" at the prospect of showing LaLa Land Celebs around town in the hopes of rubbing elbows and bragging rights of talking to the Glitterati!
We got her autograph, we'll worry about Voter remorse later.
Pam Anderson makes splash with Ladysmith condo pitchBy Darrell Bellaart, Canwest News ServicePublished: Saturday, June 28, 2008NANAIMO -- An appearance at a Ladysmith council meeting by Pamela Anderson -- who's seeking a permit for her proposed Vancouver Island development -- turned into an impromptu autograph session this week.
The former Baywatch beauty's appearance created a sensation among locals.
"There was a big crowd," said Coun. Duck Paterson of Anderson's appearance at town council on Thursday. "Everyone was saying 'Pamela Anderson, Pamela Anderson.'" Anderson kept quiet as she observed the proceedings. The celebrity is seeking a height variance for a seven-storey, 83-unit condominium-townhouse project proposed for the Ladysmith harbour on a five-acre waterfront property where her grandparents once operated a holiday cottage.
