Retired professor and forensic psychologist Michael Green has written a blistering rebuttal to OpEdNews.com managing editor Dr. John Moffet's 'smear piece' critique of the recently-published 'Active Thermitic Material' paper. In addition to exposing Moffet's disingenuous arguments, Green provides helpful analysis of the paper's findings, additional reasons to investigate 9/11, and insight on how cover ups of the power elite's crimes and real agenda work.
John R. Moffett, the distinguished neuroscientist and managing editor of OPEDNEWS, has brought his considerable prestige to bear on the issue of whether the Twin Towers and WTC7 were destroyed by controlled demolition using the incendiary and sometimes explosive thermite as a key component. Unfortunately, he has done so with either malicious incompetence, or worse, a cynical deliberate determination to distort, conceal, and suppress the findings of a recently published scientific article, "Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe," that dispositively proves the presence of unignited explosives in the WTC dust. Neither motivation on Dr. Moffett's part obviously recommends him for his post at OPEDNEWS. I will first address Dr. Moffett's smear piece, which was promoted to OPEDNEWS headline status on 4/15/2009, then, the importance of the thermitic dust. If you think that 911 isn't your issue, you should pay close attention.

John Moffet is a liar who will twist and accuse people of wrong doing, while also violating editing rules. He is no editor, by any stretch of the imagination. He and Rob Kall worked together to make sure Hillary was not the nominee, while they constantly badgered and denied articles that showed such support. And now we see how Obama is nothing more than another Bush....by .refusing to reinvestigate 911, and lying about ending the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.. Several articles I wrote were about getting Hillary to commit to a real investigation, because she had more of the motive to seek impeachment, because of what they did to Bill in impeaching him for sex. If she came out saying she would support impeachment of Bush during the Democratic Convention, I believe she would have won the nomination. But OpEd, Moffet, and Kall rejected articles, that supported the Impeachment Topic speech during the Convention.
It is pathetic the idea they would get impeachment for a lie about sex...but the Bush bums can lie about going to war...and get away with killing thousands of innocent people not only in the US for doing 911, but also the thousands of innocent people they killed in Iraq. Who really deserve's impeachment is not impeached. Such is the corruption in Washington.....and the liars who call themselves alternative News or OpEd's.
Instead they went down the mortgage crisis road.....by adding double the amount of debt to the national budget and deficit. Instead of fixing the problem..they obstruct....and John Moffet and Rob Kall do nothing but ban people who challenge them.
I gave suggestions to OpEd news to use to improve the site, and he took my ideas implementing them, giving no credit to me... He goes on his whining campaign for people to send donations to OpEdnews....as if those who give him money will get published. Instead I was banned. And I was happy to find NowPublic...the best website I have ever found.

I like nanonthermite its cool.But i think that the government had every rigth to take down the twin towers!!!

i love Nanothermite. And i also think that the government ha every right to blow up the twin towers if they choose to do that i dont see anything wrong with that!!

Well, I'm new to this site, and I wanna' look around a while before I decide where the baloney is coming from. Offhand though, I'd have to say it certainly looks like the comments posted on June 9th, at 13:56, 13:57, and 14:00, are all posted by the same character. Either that, or they all studied and failed the same elementary English class!
While sniffing around the site, I will try to keep an open mind, and consider all views. However, I don't happen to subscribe to any 9/11 theory that includes the idea, that a handful of inept Arab pilots with box cutters, took on and defeated the Worlds most sophisticated air defense system! The fact that they felt the need to remove all the evidence, before any realisic crime scene investigation could take place, bugs me a bit. They were so sure Osama was their man, but, I read that the FBI didn't feel there was enough proof to even charge him with the crime! That "amazingly" undamaged passport found in the rubble... Now there was a reason to charge into Afghanistan, and look after the "critical" pipeline at the same time... The 9/11 Commision comedy... And, the fact that "they" lie to the public on a regular basis, while denying any cover-up, until the appropriate whistleblower surfaces, and then a scapegoat is sacrificed at the low end... Whoops, sorry guys, slipped into Alzheimers mode again, I'll be ok, lemme' go get some sleep, cg
