Paris airport re-opens with delays but winds still batter France
Charles de Gaulle airport has re-opened today after yesterday's storms, but the country is still being battered with high winds, which have then put parts of the UK on flood alert still.
The airport reopened at 10:00 am (0900 GMT) but Air France reported major delays for all incoming and outgoing flights.
400,000 people are still without power and authorities are still clearing debris from roads but there have been no reports of injuries or any casualities.
These winds do have some affect on the UK coast as they are still dealing with melting snow as well.
About 3,000 people are still without power in the UK as well.

It was my view of Charles de Gaulle: A human body's chest, a big organism, an architecture wonder.

I was here in November 2008 ans was struck by the architecture. As we were taxi-ing for take off this part of terminal 2 appeared to be the power end of a giant space shop.
