Part II--Road Rage Victim States, "I Don't Know Why She Got So Mad"
See LINK for original story...and a new comment below from an actual witness.
INDIANAPOLIS -- An 81-year-old woman who says a motorist exited a vehicle and beat her in her car says she can't understand why the attacker became so angry.Lying in a hospital bed Thursday, Evelyn Page recalled the Wednesday morning attack that left one of her legs broken in 14 places.
"She thought I pulled out in front of her and went slow. I said that's the first time anyone ever told me I went too slow. They always say I go too fast."
She just reached right in and punched me with her fist," Page said. "I don't know why she got so mad."
Page said Vasquez demanded her keys and driver's license. Page said she left her vehicle to try to escape from Vasquez.
"When I did, she either hit me or she shoved me, and I went backwards and I fell, and my leg went underneath me," Page said, explaining her leg injuries.
Vasquez is a suspect in a recent armed robbery, citing surveillance video that they believe shows her.
Armed robbery, assault and only 19? Absolutely unacceptable. She is currently being held in the Indianapolis County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Hopefully she won't come up with the bail so she isn't out on the streets for awhile. Mental illness? Drugs? Anger management?
Maybe she should start hanging out with Naomi Campbell?

A witness and good samaritan had this to say on a blog:
"I was one of the women that stopped and helped the Mrs Page after this attack happened. We did a U turn to stop and help. First thing I’d like to say is Jessica you are lucky you got away, for i would have beat the shit out of you had i got to you in time. Mrs Page is one of the sweetest lady you’d ever want to have the pleasure of meeting. Not one time was she being mean hearted or nasty about this attack. She was just confussed as to why it happened. My heart and prayers so out to Mrs Page. And Jessica, you will get whats coming to you. What goes around, comes around 10 times more. I only wish i could be there to see you get yours."
