In Nuremberg, Germany, passengers of the low-cost airline "Air Berlin" refused to stay with the same airplane after two failed starting attempts. The passengers started a petition on board the airplane to force the airline to put them on a new airplane. Hours later, all but two passengers took off to their destination in Portugal.

Air Berlin spokesmen assured that at no time, passengers have been exposed to dangers. Many passengers were rememberd of the airplane disaster a couple of weeks ago in Madrid where technical difficulties occured during the first starting attempt. On the second attempt, the airplane crashed, killing 154 people.
