An interesting and controversial figure emerged during the nasty Quran Burning news conference featuring headliner, Florida Pastor, Terry Jones - KA Paul is an evangelical minister from Andhra Pradesh in South India who pops up in the most unlikely, and the most public of places.

This time K.A. Paul is giving advice and praying with Pastor Terry Jones as he weighs whether to proceed with the Quran Burning. The diminutive Paul spoke to the bewildered media, live on CNN and MS NBC explaining his relationship with his friend Terry Jones.

K.A. Paul born a low caste Hindu, says he converted to Christianity when he was nine years old. His parents converted much later and the family toured India preaching the Gospel.
