Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump Arrested & Put in Jail

Fall Out Boy lead singer Patrick Stump was arrested on Tuesday night in Hollywood, CA on a traffic warrant.

25-year-old Stump was reportedly busted for driving without a driver's license. He was arrested by local police at around midnight, and was released at 4:30 a.m. after paying a bail of $15,000 at the West Hollywood sheriff's station. The arrest came during a break in the F.O.B. summer tour opening for Blink-182.

"All I really have to say is ignorance of the law isn't innocence," Stump told MTV News approximately 90 minutes after he posted bail. "I didn't want to give up my Illinois driver's license and was unaware that was a crime. It is, by the way, in the state of California. Lesson learned. I technically broke a law, so technically I deserve whatever I get. But man, is my mom gonna be pissed."

Fall Out Boy is nominated for Best Rock Video at the 2009 MTV VMA's, and they are scheduled to perform at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in England this weekend.
