Payroll Tax Cut: The Republicans Say, Let Them Eat Cake . . .

Marie Antoinette recommended a non-existent cake, when the people had no bread.  Likewise, the House Republicans are recommending a non-existent year-long tax extension, while rejecting the two-month tax extension provided by the Senate.

Let them eat cake is like a magician's trick that presents images of more, to obscure the fact that the pretenders won't even give you less . . .

Let them eat cake is word distortions, like "uncertainty," used by wizards like John Boehner, who assert that you should have nothing now, since it is "uncertain" that you will have something later . . . 

Let them eat cake is the art of confusing, distracting, misleading and misinforming people into a state of apathy that allows 1 percent of Americans to control 42% of the wealth . . .

Let them eat cake is the voice of privileged indifference, denying the experience of ordinary people, to justify exploiting and disadvantaging them.
