(B)ring out your dead, America: the coffins of U.S. military members "killed in service" will once again be allowed to be displayed and reported in the news media.

The Pentagon stated Thursday that it plans to reverse the 1991 "ban on media coverage at Dover Air Force Base" by allowing "photography and other media coverage of the solemn return of flag-draped coffins".

What do you think? Does showing the coffins pay respect - or dishonor - to the fallen soldiers?

Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Thursday that the Pentagon will start allowing images of the flag-draped coffins of U.S. military members killed in service to appear in national news outlets, thus reversing a 1991 ban on media coverage at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
