When you see a story like this that says the “Pentagon” says or does something, what it means is that the Civilian Executive and the Senior Military Commanders have decided upon some action. In this story, after months and years, the “Pentagon” has decided that there is “minimal risk” to lifting the gay ban.

Let me tell you, there is no risk, and never has been. The Pentagon has been lost in a fog of ignorance, and with full disregard and disrespect for the United States Constitution by discriminating against gay people.

Multiple Congresses and many Presidents have marched against gay people, and that truly undermines the principles of this nation. This is fundamental.

Medical science should be the prevailing authority here. Being gay is a product of DNA.

The significance of the Pentagon getting this right is great because this is the nation’s leadership. They must lead in being right on issues so fundamental.

As a citizen I am giving you a command. Attention! Pull your heads out from the fog of ignorance. We have better things to do.

A Pentagon study group has concluded that the military can lift the ban on gays serving openly in uniform with only minimal and isolated incidents of risk to the current war efforts, according to two people familiar with a draft of the report, which is due toPresident Obama on Dec. 1.”
