Japanese viewers recently discovered a new paradise called Perth when the Tokyo Broadcasting Corporation featured this Australian city in its weekly "The World Wonder's Discovery" prime time slot.
Often dismissed as Dullsville, Perth is often referred to as the remotest place on earth. The nearest capital cities are thousands of kilometers away.
Hiroko is a mother of two and she saw the program with her husband and children. She has decided that they will definitely visit Perth some day!
"Perth was beautiful! There is NO city like Perth in Japan. People seem to be relaxing and have no stress. The life in Perth is much easier than our life in Japan."
Hiroko further wrote:
"Perth was introduced as a city that the natural environment has been preserved even though it is a big city. People can feel nature close at the beautiful park and at the beautiful beach....There are many wild plants and wild animals. It was beautiful! There are free BBQ grill in the park, and free plastic bag for doggy do.
"There was a lady who voluntarily gives treatment for wild animals, and people who hit a wild animal take the animal by themselves to the lady for the treatment."
If other viewers were similarly impressed like Hiroko was, thousands of Tokyoites will soon be making a beeline to Perth's beaches and King's Park to taste the good life.
Gold Coast, watch out!
