Amid distancing bilateral moments, the presidents of Peru and Bolivia - Alan Garcia and Evo Morales- are to meet. Both leaders are confronting tense domestic situations. While Alan Garcia is confronting opposition to his neo liberal economic program, Evo Morales is face a recall referendum in August. Bolivia and Peru follow different ideological path in current Latin American history. Thus, their meeting and possible working agreement looks rather meaningful.

Peruvian Vice-president assures that Alan Garcial will accept to meet Morales

Lima, July,14, (ABI).- Lourdes Mendoza del Solar assured that Peruvian President Alan Garcia would accept to meet his Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales, since the Peruvian authority looks for the dialogue, the peace and the development among the Countries.

"I am sure the President Alan Garcia will consider the Bolivian President’s request regarding a rapprochement," she said when was asked about Morales’ will to have a meeting with his Peruvian counterpart.

The President Morales had asked a reunion with the President Garcia in order to overcome the recent differences and to achieve a greater integration between both countries.

According to Andina Agency of news, Mendoza stated that what Evo Morales asked was what everybody had to look for, a rapprochement between two countries Bolivia and Peru, which always had been brothers.

Finally, she pointed out that that close bond could not be broken off, due to the President Morales’ opinions, and she expected that reunion to get overcome those differences.
