Peshawar: Attempt to kidnap Afghan Commercial Consular failed

Only a day after Afghanistan's ambassador-designate to Pakistan was kidnapped by gunmen from Peshawar, another Afghan diplomat on Tuesday approached the Peshawar police, saying that he had escaped a kidnapping attempt.

The Afghan diplomat requested the police to provide him security.

Commercial Consular of Afghanitan's Consulate Noor Muhammad has submitted an application at Tehkal police station in Peshawar for provision of security.

In his application, Afghan Commercial Consular said he escaped kidnapping attempt and should be provided full security, according to Geo News.
