Pew Research: 80% of Rush Limbaugh's listeners Conservative

Fully 80% of those who said they regularly listened to Limbaugh's show were self-identified conservatives, compared with 7% who were moderates and 10% who were liberals.

With Republicans out of power on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue, Rush Limbaugh is again making news as a dominant voice among conservatives. A recent Pew Research survey found that while Limbaugh's show may not have the reach of Bill O'Reilly's or Sean Hannity's television programs, his audience is by far the most conservative. An overwhelming 80% of those who listen to Rush are conservative, compared with 68% of Hannity's audience and 66% of O'Reilly's. Limbaugh's show is also the most male of any tested.
