Ohio Councillor Phil Davison From Minerva Village: Passionate Speech For The GOP Candidacy Of Stark County Treasurer
Phil Davison a candidate for Republican Treasurer for Stark County, Ohio did his best (albeit unintentional) impersonation of Chris Farley's Motivational Speaker character from Saturday Night Live.
Phil Davison's, hilarious and passionate, nomination speech for Stark County Treasurer was caught on video and is now circulating on Youtube.
Phil Davison did not get the nod for the Treasury candidacy in Ohio.
Davison, a Minvera, Ohio councilman, lost the nomination to North Canton Finance Director Alex Zumbar, according to the Huffington Post. But he almost certainly left a lasting impression with his fellow Stark County Republicans.
Alas, we wish Phil Davison well and we hope he is not living in a van down by the river...

It's easy to snipe at a speech like this from the cheap seats and I agree that it was not a great speech! But at least he had the courage to get up on the stage. Here is my take on the speech from a public speaking perspective: wp.me/pwfa1-1cV

He claims to have a Master's in Communication. Hit this dude as hard as you'd like. He deserves it.

This candidate, while exuberant, did not extend his protuberors, nor did he say that his proboscics was needed to ensure victory. Mastication, which was his right, mattered not in the matering. He spleened and was recorded. I loved his words, his actions, and his little pean to love of COuntry. For that, he should be peead upon.
