Philip Ray Greaves II Arrested for The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure
Philip Ray Greaves II, author of The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure, was arrested in Pueblo, Colorado for violating Florida's obscenity laws. Polk County, Florida deputies were able to arrest Philip Ray Greaves II in Colorado because the crime took place via the postal service.
Philip Greaves entered the public eye when The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure was sold via Amazon's Kindle e-book service, and Amazon at first refused to remove it, only doing so in the face of a threatened boycott.
Philip Greaves will be charged with distribution of obscene material, a felony in the State of Florida.
Polk Sheriff Grady Judd says his office was able to arrest Greaves on Florida obscenity charges because Greaves sold and mailed his book, "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover's Code of Conduct," to Polk deputies. Judd says Greaves even signed the book.
Judd said Greaves could be extradited to Polk County as soon as today. Even if Greaves were to fight extradition, Judd said he likely would be brought to Polk County within 30-60 days.

Good, and how else can we kill this obscene book? To ever let anyone get away with considering children as sexual targets is unacceptable. Certainly there are many people alive in the world who do think of children this way, but to act upon it even in produced fantasy (vs the uncontrollable fantasies of the mind) is going too far. You can't make yourself not respond sexually when something appeals, but you can keep from acting on it or expanding upon it. Children deserve to be protected.
