A child in Abuja, Nigeria holds a Permanet-brand long-lasting insecticide-treated mosquito net. Malaria, which is transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito, kills millions of people worldwide each year. The net is distributed by Nigeria's largest indigenous NGO, the Society for Family Health, and partner of the international NGO, Population Services International.
