This is a photo gallery of pics that were recently, post-Ike, taken in Galveston, Texas.
Typical of most people in Galveston, the woman wearing the tank-top, Cat, was sliving with friends while she looked for an apartment of her own (her own was destroyed by Ike).
The pics are newsworthy because they show the way that people in Galv have come together to recover from Ike (and that it's not all work and no play).

Ignore the pics of me, I came to Galveston post-Ike.

I can't figure out how to edit the recently added pics, the latinos on the beach aren't Ike suvivors, they, like me, came after to help with the rebuilding. I wanted to show them because although rebuilding is hard work, there are also some playful moments.
