Nagaon(Assam) : 3rd October 2009 : Nagaon Book Fair was today inaugurated
by Former president of Axom Xahitya Xabha Mohim Bora.Nagaon Book Fair has
been organised by National Book Trust (NBT) in colloboration with North East
Book Fair Committee at Nehrubali in Nagaon, a city of North eastern Indian
State Assam .The programme was graced by President Axom Xahitya Xabha
Rongbong Teron and Assam Forest and Tourism minister Rockybul Huusain .The
inaugural ceremony was also attended by Deputy Commissioner of Nagaon Dr
J.Balaji, SP Nitul Gogoi and president Nagaon distict committee of Xahitya
Xabha Naren Kalita. The inaugural lamp was lightened by Mohim Bora. Later on
a book name Siro Senehi was also released in the same function.
