Pikes Peak in Colorado Was the Scene of a Helicopter Crash on Friday During a Film Shoot for a Commercial

Reports state that the helicopter was carrying a commercial film crew who were filming a 'driverless car' commercial for Audi, when they crashed about one mile from the Pikes Peak summit.

No one was killed by at least four people were injured. The pilot was first listed as critically injured and had to be airlifted off the mountain, but has since been downgraded to fair condition. The others are considered to be in good condition.

It is not known why the helicopter crashed.

The accident occurred between 7 and 7:30am and caused the Pikes Peak Cog Railway to close, but service is expected to resume on Friday afternoon.

I spoke with one of the passengers on board, pilot is not in critical condition.  Not confirmed, but all believed to have been released from hospital.
