NP Rank:
Pimps use porn as an initiation tool for sex trafficking victims
Proponents of porn industry have argued that while there may be a correlation between sex crime and watching pornography, there is no causal relationship between the two. In his article, Pornography: Detrimental or Beneficial? published on Psychology Today not long ago, Dr. Gad Saad argues that opponents of the porn industry is primarily motivated by their own idealogical bias. He also stated as follows:
Indeed, the data reported and reviewed suggests that the thesis is myth and, if anything, there is an inverse causal relationship between an increase in pornography and sex crimes.
Who says porn hurts nobody? Apart from the first article that I wrote, here is another reason why porn hurts somebody. Unlike proponents argue that the porn is beneficial to viewers, it hurts to the women who are used as the commodities in the industry, such as trafficking victims
