Pirates of the Caribbean ship looted while on UK tour
Once-upon a time we had two ships, one very old ship that was famously looted on the high seas, another ship, a copy used in movies, most recently the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
This ship had no danger of being louted, well until it berthed in Scotland.
The magnificent looking tall ship was broken into around 4am and it was believe to be young kids. They stole cash up to £100 as well as clothing, a survival suit, book, life ring and an American flag.
This HMS Bounty is a replica of the original Bounty. The ship it's self looted in West Indies in 1789 and the Captain William Bligh and 18 crewmen set adrift to float on the sea.
The ship is currently on a tour of several UK ports.
Most of the items stole were found dumped near by.
A SAILING ship from the hit Pirates of the Caribbean movies has been BURGLED by buccaneering neds. Two teenage crooks clambered aboard the HMS Bounty in a daring 4am robbery that would have made movie rogue Captain Jack Sparrow proud.
The raiders legged it from the quayside at Greenock, Renfrewshire, with a bizarre booty of cash, an 8x12ft American flag, a survival suit and a life ring.
Last night a source said: "It is unbelievable. This ship has sailed all around the world and has never been robbed.
"But as soon as it gets into Greenock it gets turned over."
